Srinivasan, who died at the age of 69 after a prolonged illness, died at a hospital in Kochi, where he was undergoing treatment. A legendary personality in Malayalam cinema, he was widely acclaimed as an actor, screenwriter and filmmaker whose work left a lasting cultural impact.
