‘Missing Ladies’ to be screened in Supreme Court

Kiran Rao’s film ‘Laapata Ladies’ will be screened at the Supreme Court of India tomorrow, August 9. The director herself along with the film’s producer Aamir Khan will be present at the screening and will also interact with the audience.

According to the notice, the Chief Justice of India will also be present and the judges will be accompanied by their spouses. The film will be screened after court hours from 4:15 pm to 6:20 pm, followed by a conversation with Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.

The notice reads, “As part of the activities organised during the seventy-fifth year of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India, the film ‘Missing Ladies’ based on the theme of gender equality will be screened on Friday, 9th August 2024 at the Auditorium, C-Block, Administrative Building Complex. Ms. Kiran Rao, director of the film and Mr. Aamir Khan, producer of the film will also be present during the screening.”
