The final trailer for the third season of Netflix’s popular romantic series Mismatched was released on Monday. This much-awaited season starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles will reunite old connections and introduce new ones.

Starting with the iconic cold coffee that brought Rishi (Rohit Saraf) and Dimple (Prajakta Koli) together for the first time, the trailer segues straight into their next chapter. Entering the next phase of their relationship, the two have left Aravali Institute for a new campus in Hyderabad.

Love meets technology as the two deal with their ambitions and the effort it takes to stay in love and discover what it means to live two lives – one real and one virtual. The season will also include a new set of expertly composed music. Synonymous with the series, the music will continue to be a rich storytelling tool for fans.

Additionally, once-arch rivals Rishi and Anmol (Taruk Raina) find themselves on the same team in the virtual-reality lab Betterverse, proving that this season is all about flipping the script.

A new character, Rith (Lauren Robinson) aims to thrive in this virtual world as Celina (Muskan Jaffrey) helps her fit in, while Krish (Abhinav Sharma) continues to find his place.

Sid Sir (Ranvijay Singh) and Zeenat (Vidya Malvade) are making fresh starts, pursuing new plans – a stark parallel to the many “worlds” the gang navigates in Mismatched: from adulthood and self-discovery to friendship.

Featuring Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, Rannvijay Singha, Taruk Raina, Vidya Malvade, Ahsaas Channa, Abhinav Sharma, Muskaan Jaffrey and newcomers Lauren Robinson, Garima Yagnik and Akshat Singh, this season brings dreams, dilemmas and drama.

Mismatched Season 3 will release on Netflix on December 13.
