Elaborating on the relationship that has formed between them since the show started, she said, “We have always been united in this. We love this show more than anything and we value our friendship more than anything.”
Brown also reflected on returning to the set with Harbor for the final season and described the experience as “pretty cool” and full of nostalgia.
The pair’s on-screen dynamic, between Eleven and police chief turned surrogate father Jim Hopper, continues to develop in the final chapters. Brown teased that fans will once again see the familiar clash between freedom and overprotection.
“It was quite nostalgic because it reminded me a lot of seasons 2 and 3,” he said. He added, “She’s growing up, trying to find her voice and he’s trying to be a parent. That dynamic definitely comes to the fore once again and I’m really excited for people to see it.”
