Milli Bobby Brown is officially a mother! 21 -year -old The Stranger Things Star and 23 -year -old her husband Jake Bongovi welcomed her first child together through adoption. The couple announced Happy News on Instagram on Thursday, 21 August.
“In this summer, we welcomed our beloved girl through adoption. We are excited to start this beautiful next chapter of paternity in both peace and privacy,” Brown shared. In the joint post, the couple wrote, “and then there were 3,” confirming their new journey as parents.
A love story that began on Instagram
Milli Bobby Brown and Jake Bongyovi first raised rumors of romance in June 2021 when Bongyovi posted a selfie with the actress. The two were connected through Instagram and before dating were “Friends for Little”, Brown revealed in a 2022 interview with Wired.
The couple secretly tied the knot in May 2024. She later celebrated her wedding with family and friends at Villa Setinale, Italy, shared the wedding photos on Instagram. Brown captioned his post, “Forever and Allways, Your Wife”, while Bongyovi wrote, “forever and always, your husband.” In the photos, the couple were exchanged under a floral arches and was posed with their father, John Bon Jovi.
Here Milli has told a family about wanting
The electric state star is open about the desire to start a family from an early age. On the Smartless Podcast earlier this year, Brown said, “My mother was actually her first child at the age of 21, and my father was 19 years old. And you know that since I met Jake, it’s on my talk ever since I was a child, I told my mother, like baby dolls. I wanted to be a mother as I wanted to be a mother.”
He shared that both he and Bongiovi come from large families. “I am one in four. He is one in four. Therefore, it is definitely in our future. But, for me, I don’t see your own child really different from adopting.”
In another interview, Brown shared that she and Bongyovi had a serious conversation before getting married. He shared that he talked about his political views, the way he wanted to build a family, the way he expected to live in the house, the relationship he was looking for, and the career they wanted to pursue. Brown said it was an important decision, and they wanted to make sure they were making right. She said that she always knew that it felt right with her.
