Taking to their Instagram handle on January 20 local time, the couple shared a joint post announcing the birth of their new baby via surrogacy. This is the couple’s third child after welcoming sons Riley and Barry, who were born in 2021 and 2023, respectively. She also shared some pictures of her newborn from her home, including a family selfie.

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara have welcomed a new baby girl via surrogate, information about which they shared with the world through a post on Tuesday. “January 18th, 2026. Our baby girl, Mickey Moon Trainer, is finally into the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” she wrote. Without elaborating on how she decided to opt for surrogacy this time, she said, “We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible. We had endless conversations with our doctors throughout this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to grow our family.”
Their excitement was evident with the words, “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl.” Revealing how the new baby’s name was decided with the help of her two sons, she said, “Riley and Barry are so excited they even got to pick his middle name. Now we’re going to enjoy time with our family, love you all.” A heart, a healthy face and a ribbon bow emoji were added to the post. The pictures show how emotional the moment was for the family as the singer was seen crying while holding her newborn baby in her arms. Additionally, her other two children wore ‘Big Brother’ T-shirts as they were excited to welcome their sister.
The couple added a bunch of photos of themselves and their newborn as well as their brothers, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2. The All About That Bass singer has previously shared his lifelong desire to have a big family. After the birth of her first child, she happily announced that she is ready to have 3 more children.
