Tanushree Dutta reacted to the defence given by Nana Patekar against the #MeeToo allegations levelled against her. In a recent interview, the veteran actor called it a “lie” and said there is nothing to discuss on the matter. A few days ago, Tanushree wrote a long note expressing her anger at the actor.

On June 24, the actress reacted to Nana Patekar’s comment on her Instagram handle, in which the actress denied all the #MeToo allegations leveled against her.

The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress wrote, “After the Varanasi boy slapping incident, the whole world now knows what a big liar Nana Patekar is. Nana first tried to pretend that slapping the kid was a part of the shooting and then faced a lot of criticism for trying to hide his misbehavior. Then he suddenly changed his stance and issued a half-hearted apology. Why did it take 6 years to respond to #MeToo??”

The actress revealed that she has faced “severe harassment” from a group of unknown people over the past few years.

“I was followed and harassed by strangers wherever I went. I had several bizarre accidents and there were constant attempts to poison me with various substances. There were also some attempts to corner me and lure me into dangerous situations with strangers,” she wrote, adding how she would see unusual things around her while it seemed like the people around were “hired goons”.
