MDMA, LSD may protect festivals from October 7 trauma, claims of study

Festivals consuming MDMA, LSD and other party drugs may have psychological security against trauma during the 7 October attack by Hamas in 2023, a study claimed by a study. Hundreds of people participating in the party were high on illegal entertaining drugs, when immediately after sunrise, Hamas gunmen attacked the Nova Music Festival in Southern Israel near the Gaza border, after carrying the AK -47 assault rifles.

Researchers analyzed the psychological reactions of more than 650 festivals before the attack – two -thirds of which took MDMA, LSD, marijuana or saliliabin (magic mushroom).

“We were hidden under our friends’ bodies for hours while living on LSD or MDMA,” Professor Roy Solomon, one of those who were one of the prominent people of research. BBC,

“There are talk that many of these substances produce plasticity in the brain, so the brain is more open to change. But if you tolerate this plasticity in such a terrible situation – what happens – what is it going to be worse, or is it better?”

The study found that MDMA, known as Molly or Palmanand, was most protective when not mixed with anything else. People who were hopped on MDMA managed to face mentally better in the first five months when there is a lot of processing.

Hormones such as oxytocin, triggered by the drug, promote bonding, which may have helped promote the magnitude between partygare and trying to escape from the attack.

“They were sleeping better, there was less mental crisis – they were doing better than those who did not take any substance,” Mr. Solomon said.

One of the remaining people, Mishal Ohana said that she must have collapsed or collapsed on the floor or the worst position-if she was not high, was killed or captured by gunmen.

“I feel like it saved my life, because I was too much, as I am not in the real world. Because regular humans cannot see all these things – this is not normal.”

In particular, Hamas militants killed 360 people and kidnapped dozens at the festival site, where 3,500 people were partying.
