Masaba Gupta named her daughter Matara, told its significance
Designer and actor Masaba Gupta has revealed the name of her daughter in a new social media post. After naming the child Matara, Masaba also told its meaning.
Actor-designer Masaba Gupta recently welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with her husband and actor Satyadeep Mishra. In her latest social media post, Masaba named her daughter Matara and explained its meaning.
Masaba shared a picture of her baby’s cute little hand wearing a bangle with Matara inscribed on it, Masaba wrote, “3 months with my Matara. This name symbolizes the divine feminine energy of the 9 Hindu goddesses Celebrating his strength and wisdom. Also, the apple of our eye (sic).”

Masaba and Satyadeep welcomed their daughter in October last year. At the time, Masaba had shared a post which read, “Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day, 11.10.2024.”
Masaba had announced her pregnancy on April 18 last year. In a joint Instagram post with Satyadeep, she wrote on social media, “In other news – two little feet coming our way! Please send love, blessings and banana chips (just plain salty) #babyonboard #mom&dad (sic) “
Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Mishra got married on 27 January 2023.
