“Marriage is just a piece of paper”: Arjun Rampal on his relationship status with girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades

The actor has been in a relationship with model Gabriella Demetriades since 2019. The couple is also parents to two sons, Arik and Ariv. The two have not yet taken the traditional route and gotten married. In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Calmness The actor opened up about his personal life, including his opinions about his relationships and the reason he is not marrying his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades.

Talking about this, the actor said, “It’s not me, it’s not him, what is marriage? It’s just a piece of paper. I think we are already married and I have no doubt about it. But sometimes that piece of paper can change you too. Because it seems like it’s permanent, it’s a misconception but you are kind of legally bound but it can change your attitude towards each other.”

He further added, "I think both of us feel the same, we feel whatever has happened between us is very natural and I don't want to think too much about it, that's why I am a private person because I believe in nazar and I believe sometimes evil nazar comes and affects it". He further added that he doesn't need to justify his reason for not marrying someone but both feel that what they have is beautiful and in their minds, both are married to each other. He also added how both of them push each other in the right direction and how they always motivate each other.

Arjun mentioned that he is not going against the institution of marriage, "I think it's a beautiful thing, maybe we'll get married. You never know." He further added that he is very happy in his life with Gabriella as he is blessed with two beautiful sons, and his daughters and ex-wife Mehr get along very well with Gabriella.

Arjun was previously married to Meher Jessia and they co-parent two daughters, Myra and Mahikaa.
