Indian stocks were flat on Thursday, with the Sensex and Nifty ending little changed as a four-day rally ended. Optimism over the benefits of easing inflation and a possible Indo-US trade deal was offset by caution ahead of the Bihar election results. The S&P BSE Sensex closed up 12 points, or 0.01%, at 84,478.67, while the NSE Nifty 50 ended up just 3 points at 25,879.15.
