Mark Teaser: Kiccha Sudeep packs a punch in a deadly and fierce avatar
Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep reunites with ‘Max’ director Vijay Karthikeya for the second time in a mass action entertainer, and it looks raw, rough and interesting.
The teaser of Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep’s mass action entertainer ‘Mark’ was released on 7 November. The film marks the second collaboration between directors Vijay Karthikeya and Sudeep after the success of their previous release, the 2024 hit ‘Max’.
Announcing the film in July this year, Sudeep had said that he wanted to make a quick film and release it in the same year. As promised, the ‘Vikrant Rona’ actor is working on, ‘Mark’ is scheduled to release on December 25.
In the action-packed teaser titled ‘Mark Intra’, we see the anxious Kiccha Sudeep – who has been announced with a hit job – in a menacing avatar, cursing out gangsters. The teaser offers a quick glimpse of the rest of the cast, has some heightened dialogues that build mystery around the title character Mark, and shows off plenty of swag courtesy of Kiccha Sudeep.
Announcing the teaser release on X, producer Satya Jyoti Films described the teaser as “insane”.
The caption reads, “The wait is over. The storm is here. Mark’s intro out now. Power, style and madness in every frame.”
‘Mark’ has been written and directed by Vijay Karthikeya. Along with Kiccha Sudeep, the group includes Naveen Chandra, Deepshikha, Yogi Babu and Gopalkrishna Deshpande. The film is produced by Senthil Thiagarajan and Arjun Thiagarajan under the banner of Satya Jyoti Films. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music for the film, while Shekhar Chandra handled the cinematography while Ganesh Babu served as the editor.
Apart from ‘Mark’, Kiccha Sudeep is also working on ‘Rangeetaranga’ director Anup Bhandari’s ambitious project ‘Billa Ranga Basha’. The two-part film series is said to be a sci-fi action thriller set in a post-apocalyptic future in the year 2209 AD. Apart from this, Sudeep is also hosting the very successful reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’, whose 12th season is currently going on.
‘Mark’ is scheduled to release in theaters on December 25.
