Manoj Muntashir called Anurag Kashyap ‘sick’: You cannot pollute Brahmin heritage
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir shared a video on social media, beating Anurag Kashyap for his alleged casteist remarks against Brahmins. He also released an open challenge to him in the video.

Lyricist and writer Manoj Muntashir shared a video on social media on Saturday, which was allegedly asked to make derogatory remarks against Brahmins to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Muntashir issued an open challenge to Kashyap, in which he asked to choose any famous Brahmins from his list and dared a social media user to do what he had written about his comment, trigger a line.
The popular lyricist further called Kashyap ‘sick’, and sarcastically told him that members of the Brahmin community would happily pay for his treatment. He went to tell him that the Brahmin heritage is very strong to be tainted with a comment or a polluted idea.
Muntashir’s caption on the video states, “My open challenge Anurag Kashyap (SIC)” in Hindi. Kashyap on Friday apologized for harassing a part of people with his racist remarks on social media. All this began when he biased with the film team ‘Phule’ after objections by members of the Brahmin community against the content of the film. In a strong note on social media, the popular filmmaker asked if Indians never faced caste-based discrimination before or after independence.
