Veteran television anchor and actor Rajesh Keshav, known as RK, is struggling for his life after suffering a cardiac arrest during a live event in Kochi on Sunday night. The 49 -year -old fell on the stage during the closing moments of a public event, shocking the audience and organizers.

Rajesh was rushed to Lakeshore Hospital, where doctors performed an emergency angioplasty. Since then he has been placed on ventilator support and has been under intensive care. Doctors suspect mild brain damage due to the condition, given that during minor movements, their overall response is limited.

Filmmaker Pratap Jayalakshmi posted an update on her health on Facebook. He wrote, “Our dear friend Rajesh now has your heartfelt prayers. This Crown Plaza Hotel, Kochi was at the end of the incident on Sunday night that he collapsed. Some minor agitation now and again.”
