Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan issued a strong statement responding to the allegations made by Deepu Karunakaran, director of ‘Sri and Mrs. Bachelor’. He alleged that Anaswar refused to participate in the promotion of the film, which delayed. He shared a long statement on Instagram and talked about being ready to take legal action against such ‘defamation’ statements.

In her strongly words statement, Anaswara dismissed her claims and mentioned that she was the only one of the actors to promote the film before the scheduled release – “I had already given an interview before the release date of the promotion of the film. The only online publicity for the film was that I did.

He mentioned that he shared his share by sharing posters and trailers and claimed that he was not informed about the change in the release date of the film. Anaswara said that Deepu’s statement and Youtube channel coverage on it could have a negative impact on his career.

The Neru actor then stated that the director mentioned facing the same issues as other actors. He said, “Selected by pulling my name in this issue – especially when I am relatively new to the industry and a woman – it seems that she believes that I will not answer,” she said.

Anaswara said that he has filed a complaint against director Deepu Karunakaran with Malayalam Movie Artists (Amma). If such defamation statements are going on then it is ready to take legal action.

The actor expressed his desire to participate in the promotion of the film, provided that he was already informed.

‘Mr. and Mrs. Bachelor’ stars Indrajit Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles. The film was earlier scheduled to release on August 23, 2024. However, it was postponed for unknown reasons.
