I would love to play a warrior princess or a queen; history and mythology fascinated me in my childhood, and I would love to explore those worlds. Addressing the question of why he didn’t follow up beyond the clouds With more Hindi films on the way, Malavika revealed that opportunities came her way, but she chose to be selective. “After Beyond the Clouds, I got offers from many Hindi films, but I have been very selective. She was clear that her decisions were never about ranking industries. “I don’t consider one industry better than another. I make my choices intuitively, and though I would love to do more Hindi films, it will excite me creatively.”
Looking back, Malavika says she has no regrets about the projects she rejected. “Thankfully, I don’t regret saying no to any film. Most of the films I said no to didn’t do well, so I think I took the right decision.”
She further revealed what kind of filmmakers she wishes to collaborate with. Malavika said, “I would love to work with Rajamouli sir, not just because he makes big films, but because he writes strong female characters. Even BaahubaliWomen had agency, inspiration, and power; They were not limited to merely decorative roles.”
