Telugu actor Venkatesh Daggubati’s latest collaboration with director Anil Ravipudi, Sankranti Vasthunam is receiving an overwhelming response at the box office. Released during the festive season, the film soon became the first choice of family audiences. Actor Mahesh Babu, who recently watched the film, shared his excitement and appreciation on social media.

Mahesh Babu shared a heartfelt review, calling Sankranti Vasthanam a proper celebratory film and praised Venkatesh’s stellar performance.

He wrote, Venkatesh Daggubati sir is very wonderful. Very proud and happy of my director Anil Ravipudi for consistently delivering blockbusters. Mahesh also praised the performances of Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Choudhary and young actor Bulli Raju, who left a lasting impact.

The superstar is known to share his appreciation for the work of his colleagues, especially those with whom he has collaborated. Mahesh worked with Venkatesh in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, a 2013 Sankranthi release, and with Anil Ravipudi in Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), another blockbuster that hit theaters during Sankranthi.

Sankranti Vasthanam earned an impressive Rs 23 crore on its opening day with positive reception and a strong opening, setting it apart from other Sankranti releases like Daku Maharaj and Game Changer. The film is expected to continue to do well at the box office with its heart-warming family story.

Produced by Shirish under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film also stars VTV Ganesh and Naresh in lead roles. The film’s music is composed by Bheems Cecirollo, with Dil Raju presenting the project. This is Venkatesh’s third collaboration with Anil Ravipudi, after their successful partnership in F2: Fun and Frustration (2019) and F3: Fun and Frustration (2022).
