Presented by Kantara and KGF Fame’s homebell Films, the incarnation of the animated film Lord Vishnu revolves around the story of Lord Narasimha. Made debut on day 1 with Rs 1.35 crore, Mahavatar Narasimha collected Rs 29 crore in his first week. As the word-mouth spread, it saw a huge growth in the legs. The film received Rs 50 crore in the second week, followed by Rs 48.50 crore in the third week.
In addition, the film faced Cool and War 2 release during the Independence Day weekend, and still remains one of the major options among the audience. This Independence Day in Hindi was more than Rs 18.50 crore in the weekend, which is more than Rajinikanth’s Cool: The Powerhouse.
While War 2 and Cool are showing a projection at a bottom, Mahavatar Narasimha is maintaining his lost show and performing very well. According to estimates, the animated film collected Rs 1.10 crore on its 4th Thursday, causing a total of Rs 149.45 crore at the Hindi box office to Rs 149.45 crore.
