The Tamil film Madharai, in which Shivkartikeyan has performed decency at the box office with Vidyartha Jamwal and Rukmini Vasant in The Titular Rolls. The psychological action thriller drama was found with the average word-off-mouth but the weekend buses are very high on the expected lines.
Debut with Rs 12.30 crore, Madharsi took a nominal dip on the second day and collected Rs 12 crore in Tamil Nadu. Estimates suggest that the director of AR Murugadoss has recorded another 5 percent decline on its first Sunday. The film collected about Rs 11.50 crore on day 3, taking the early weekend Cum to the Tamil box office up to Rs 35.80 crore.
Madharai’s fate depends on box office trends in the week of the week
The sivakartheikeyan starrer needs to show a strong grip on the first Monday and then in the week to reach a respectable clan by the end of his dramatic run. If it manages to achieve further traction, it can raise through a favorable dramatic decision.
The film is not performing on the lines of Amaran, the previous release of Shivrathician, a huge blockbuster in Tamil Nadu. The fate of Madharai is important for AR Murugados as his previous directional films including Salman Khan’s Alexander could not attack the right ragas with the audience and met with disappointing box office results at the box office. If the film unanimously combined with the audience reactions, the box office picture could be much better, with Serge on Saturday and Sunday
Madharasi’s day-wise box office collection is as follows:
| Day | Tamil Nadu Box Office |
| 1 | 12.30 crore rupees |
| 2 | 12.00 crore rupees |
| 3 | 11.50 crore rupees |
| Total | 35.80 crores gross |
