Vidyut Jammal and Rukmini Vasant are performing gracelessly at the box office in the lead role along with Jammal and Rukmini Vasant. The Crime Action film directed by AR Murugdos started its box office with Rs 12.30 crore and wrapped its early week at the Tamil box office in a gross of Rs 49.35 crore.
The SivakartheeKeyan starrer on Friday fell 15% in the second weekend, with a tally Rs 2.85 crore. The total box office Cum of Madharai has crossed a mark of Rs 50 crore, which is now a gross of Rs 51.80 crore in its domestic turf.
Madharai needs better legs over the weekend
Supported by Mr. Lakshmi films, Madharsi should aim to jump enough to leave through a successful dramatic run on Saturday and Sunday. The fate of its box office will be determined in the second weekend and then from its grip in the next week.
Depending on the current trends, AR Murugadoss Directorial is expected to witness significant drops for its second weekend. While Madharsi is struggling at the box office, Shivkartikeyan will be seen next time in Parasakthi, which was slate to hit Pongal with the Jan Nayagan of Thalapathi Vijay in 2026.
