Mada Gaza Raja shut down the global dramatic run for Rs 56 crore; Super-hit emerges
Pongal was released on January 12 on the occasion of 2025, Mada Gaja Raja broke the notion that only a few types of films could work at the box office. Tamil action-comedy emerged as a recreational of a firm festival by earning a total of Rs 56 crore at the box office worldwide. Out of this, Rs 53.50 crore came from Tamil Nadu alone, while foreign areas contributed only Rs 2.50 crore.
Opened with Rs 3.20 crore, the film watched a Bangar weekend of Rs 13 crore. In addition, it gave a storm to a mark of Rs 25 crore in just 5 days. And then it started its journey towards a magical mark of Rs 50 crore. Appreciated for his old comedy, Mada Gaja Raja is now going out of theaters with the arrival of Vidamuirchi.
This is a rare result for such a 12 -year -old release. For Bin Bulaye, Mada Gaza Raja was originally shot in 2012 and plans to hit theaters in 2013. However, it could not see the day of release due to financial and legal hurdles. Finally, the film was released in 2025, and the rest is history!
Madda Gaza Raja’s super success empowers other filmmakers to get approval on their stuck projects and bring them to theaters. If it has merit, the film will get an audience.
