Sivakarthikeyan’s Tamil-language superhero film, Maaveraran released on July 14, 2023 in India. Since 2 years of 2 years, it basically collides with a large screen, it is now ready to come to Japan.
Shivrathikyan’s Mavran for release in Japan
Maaveran is set to release in Japanese theaters on July 11, 2025. The official update of its latest international screening with Japanese subtitle was created by SK through a special video message.
Sharing the news, the actor said, “Everyone in Hello, Japan. Konichiva, my film Mavran is releasing in Japan on July 11. This is a good film, please come to theaters and watch this unique film, of course, you will like this experience.”

Talking about the film, Maaveran is an action thriller superhero film directed by National Award winner Madon Ashwin. The Sivakartheikeyan starrer has the story of a comic book artist Satya, who writes and shows a brave warrior named Maaveraran for a Tamil newspaper.
In real life a coward, truth often takes high road and avoids anything wrong. However, after a terrible decline from the roof of his apartment complex, he begins to hear a voice above his life, similar to his comic strip.
Thus, there is an action-pack story of rivalry between truth and a corrupt politician, Jaikodi, who did injustice to him and his community.
Along with SK in the lead, the film stars Aditi Shankar, Sarita, Masskin, Monisha Blass, Yogi Babu, Sunil and many other actors in the cast of actors.
The film is run by Bharat Shankar, in which Vidya Ayona and Philomin Raj are handling cinematography and editing respectively. Maaveran is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Sivakartheikeyan’s next film
The sevakarthikeyan director AR Murugadoss’s action thriller is the next set to appear in a leading role for madrasi. The film, Slated, Rukmini Vasant, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Shabir Kallarakkal, Vikrant, Prem Kumar, and lead roles to release on September 5, 2025.
In addition, Amarran actor is currently filming for his period political drama Parasakthi with director Sudha Kongra. Flicks, which will mark the 25th cinematic venture of SK, will include Ravi Mohan, Cerela, and Atharva Murali in supporting roles.
