Maman hit the big screen on 16 May, 2025, starring Suri and Aishwarya Lectmi in the lead roles. After it is speculated on its OTT release, the family drama flick is finally killing the streaming space.
When and where to see maaman
Maaman has been slated to start streaming on the OTT platform ZEE5 since August 28, 2025. The official update was made by the streaming platform itself.
Earlier, Sori herself confirmed that satellites and digital rights were purchased by Zee Network, now being finalized with an official date for its streaming.

Official trailer and mammon plot
Maaman has the story of INBA, who is a young man who takes great care of his sister Girija, who is struggling for a child after 10 years of marriage. Finally, on giving birth to his son, Nilan, his mother uncle, Inba, prefer him on everything else.
Meanwhile, the Gynec Rekha of the INBA and his sister falls in love, causing them to get married years later. However, despite tying the knot, his nephew Nilan often falls among them, unable to be unable to be in private moments for themselves.
Many examples of this inspired the couple to outbreak, Inba’s sister Girija also misunderstood Rekha. Finally, Inba and her nephew fits the nilan, flowing separately.
What happens to the bond shared by INBA and Nilan, and whether the former manages to balance his love life with his family’s life, creates the whole story.
Cast and Crew of Mahmar
Maman has been made in the headlines by Sori with Rajkiran, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Swasika such as Girija, Master Present Shivan, Baba Bhaskar, Bala Saravanan, Jayaprakash, Viji Chandrashekhar, Gita Kalasam, and many others. Even Tamil actor Vimal is in a cameo appearance in the film.
The film is directed by Prasanth Pandiyraj, who gave himself a screenplay based on a story by Sori. Hriday with Heshm Abdul Wahab himself composed the track and background score, the film stars Dinesh Purushothaman and Ganesh Shiva who handled cinematography and editing.
