Director Lokesh Kanagarj is known for Blockbuster films ‘Kathy’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’, announced that he will take breaks from all social media platforms. The filmmaker, who is currently involved in the post-production of the much-awaited Rajinikanth-concluded ‘Cooli’, revealed that he was moving away from the grid until his upcoming film begins.

Lokesh shared the announcement on social media and wrote, “Hey friends! I am taking a small break from all social media platforms till the promotion of #Cool. With love (SIC).” The announcement surprised several fans, waiting for the update from the film’s team.

Meanwhile, Sun Pictures, The Banner Banking ‘Kali’, confirmed that the filming was wrapped on March 17. A special video, which featured the moments back and forth from the sets, was released to mark the opportunity.

‘Coolie’ stars a star-stodged artist including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Saubin Shahir, Satyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR and Monisha Blass. The manufacturers also announced that Pooja Hegde would be seen in a special song sequence, while Bollywood star Aamir Khan is set to make a cameo appearance.

The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichender, another high-profile cooperation. The technical team of the film consists of acclaimed cinematographer Girish Gangadharan and editor Philomin Raj.
