In an interview with Filmibet, Irrfan Khan and Sutpa Sikdar’s son, Babil Khan shared that he did not grow up like most people. His parents were very adamant about not growing up in a digital world. The black actor further revealed that he was raised very close to a forest for the first time and then in the Madh Island. He then went to an alternative school where no plastic was allowed, and everything was of wood.
Unlike today’s youth, who suffer from their digital devices and smartphones, they had a very basic phone, he was 22 years old. “I had a dabba phone till the age of 21 or 22 years. So all, digital world of this-social media-this is very new to me,” the railway male actor said. In the same interview, he admitted that even though he is not suffering from social media and prefers to stay away from the digital world, he learned a lot about the social world while working on logouts.
Babil learned that someone should use social media as a tool rather than a source of verification. He said, “Use it for creativity instead of relying on him for his self-values,” he said that this is what his journey taught him, and thus he reflected on social media.
In addition, Babil talked about his character in Amit Golani’s film. Irfan Khan’s son said that he always tries to play the characters and is a part of the stories that he feels that he is far away. Explaining the reason behind this, the young star said that he believes that there is every shadow within every human being. Therefore, he tries to find the characters he is not in real life and plays them for the screen.
