Loca Chapter One- Chandra, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nutan in the lead roles, is performing well at the box office. The superhero film, directed by Dominic Arun, today entered the third weekend with a bang and is definitely to enter the top 5 largest grossers at the Kerala box office.
Malayalam film opened with Rs 2.70 crore and watched a blockbuster run at the box office, marking the introduction of a new superhero cinematic universe. It wrapped its initial week for an unprecedented rupee for Rs 38.65 crore, followed by Rs 35.05 crore in the second week, a total of Rs 74.70 crore in Kerala.
Loca Chapter One- Chandra enters the third weekend, Beats Evasham
Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer continued his brilliant run. It entered the third weekend today, showing a strong grip. The film collected 16 days of Rs 3.10 crore, which took the total Cum to the Kerala box office to Rs 76.80 crore. With such an incredible run, the superhero film crossed the lifetime income of Bahubali 2 and Aavesham and became the 6th highest grossing film at the Kerala box office.
It is expected to cross the final cume of Aadujeevitham until tomorrow, which will ensure its grand entry into the top 5 grosers on the Malayalam land. Interestingly, it has emerged as the second Malayalam film after L2: Ampuran to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in international markets. Two official posters of Towino Thomas as Michael and Duller Salman as Charlie from Loca’s world were released today, which is expected to help the film further.
