At a time when the Donald Trump administration is carefully working on messaging about the Iran war, isolating it from Iraq and claiming that the US will walk out of the Middle East crisis, MAGA senator Lindsey Graham doubled down and said that the US will completely destroy Iran. Appearing on Fox News Sunday with Maria Bartiromo, Graham said the US would take out the bad guys and would not stop at Iran. After Iran, America will go after Cuba. “Just wait to see what happens in the next two weeks,” he said.Graham said, “This regime is now in the throes of death, it will be on its knees, it is about to fall, and when it falls, we are going to peace like no other time.” “We are going to have prosperity that no one has ever imagined. Peace brings prosperity.”“You can’t do that by talking,” the senator said. “Democrats criticized this operation: They didn’t do a great job. We should all be proud of these men and women in the military.”“If we get into a fight, I want to win it quickly. I’m in Miami. Do you see this hat? ‘Free Cuba.’ Stay tuned. The liberation of Cuba is upon us. We are marching around the world. We are eliminating the bad guys. Cuba is next,” Graham said. Conservative commentator Meghan McCain rejected warmongering and said she had known Graham since she was a child. “I’ve known Lindsey Graham since I was a kid,” wrote McCain, the daughter of the late Republican U.S. Senator John McCain. “I am pleading with anyone in the Trump administration who will listen to me to stop sending this guy as a surrogate. He is scaring people and damaging whatever message you are trying to send to the American public about the Iran war.“President Donald Trump on Saturday did not rule out ordering the deployment of US troops on the ground while stating his demand for unconditional surrender by Iran’s current regime. “I said it unconditionally. This is where those uncles scream or when they can’t fight anymore and there’s no one around to cry to the uncle – that can happen, too,” Trump said. “We haven’t talked about it,” Trump said. “At some point, maybe we will. This would be a very good thing. Right now we’re just finishing them off. We haven’t gone after it but we may do something later. On the question of the possibility of deployment, Trump said, we will not do it now.
