Lara Dutta’s “incredible summer” with Mahesh Bhupathi and Saira goes from USA’s T20 World Cup to Paris Olympics 2024

Lara Dutta has had an “incredible summer” enjoying several sporting events. She wasn’t alone on the journey though. Her husband and Grand Slam winner Mahesh Bhupathi accompanied the actress along with their sports-loving daughter Saira. In a series of pictures on Instagram, Lara documented the fun time with her family. The detailed side note read, “What an incredible summer of sporting brilliance it was!! I am so grateful to have been able to witness some great sporting events over the last few months. From the Ind/Pak match at the T20 World Cup in the USA to Wimbledon in the UK and the cherry on the cake, the Olympics in France!!! With my dedicated, hardworking, disciplined, athlete daughter, she too registered a few wins of her own along the way. In the company of family and family-like friends, it has been an unforgettable summer.”

In the first picture, Mahesh Bhupathi and Saira were seen wearing Team India jerseys. The father-daughter duo flashed million-dollar smiles as they posed against the backdrop of a cricket field. They also clicked a picture at the women’s final Wimbledon event. Saira, an aspiring athlete, also showed off her medal, presumably won at a sporting event. Glimpses of exotic destinations also appeared in the frame. The pictures also showed special family moments. In the last slide, Lara and Saira hugged each other while wearing sports jerseys and cheered for Neeraj Chopra, who won a silver medal at the Paris Olympics this year.

Earlier, Lara Dutta had posted a few pictures from the Wimbledon match between Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal and Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic in London. With her as always were Mahesh Bhupathi and Saira. She wrote in the caption, “Day 1 of Wimbledon is over! I feel so blessed to have enjoyed this Mecca of Tennis with my wonderful man Mahesh Bhupathi who makes it feel like he’s coming home every time he enters these gates! And now enjoying it with my daughter who loves it as much as he does!!”
