Lalo: Krishna always helps Rs. Earned around Rs 11 crore in its seventh weekend in India. The drop in the sixth weekend was once again spectacular, at just 32 percent. The total box office collection of Lalo is now Rs. 88.25 crores in India.
The seventh weekend number is the second highest ever in India, after Kantara, which collected Rs. Rs 15 crore in a single frame. Notably, Lalo has been closing the gap with Kantara over the past few weeks, and the gap now stands at just 28 percent. The film could hit an all-time record next week, especially with plans to release the Hindi dubbed version.
Lalo only Rs. 12 crores less than a whopping Rs. 100 crore milestone. It looked like it would be difficult to get here, or just about to get there, but it would comfortably cross the three-point mark and then some. The biggest Gujarati film till date is a film named Desh Re Joya Dada Pardesh Joya, which collected Rs. Earned more than. 15 crores in 1998. This adjusts to Rs. Exceeded. Today Rs 150 crore. Till now no Gujarati film has been able to come close to that film, now Lalo has also joined it.
