Lalo Krishna Sada Sahayata Box Office: Fifth week doubles fourth week, total earnings close to Rs 50 crore

Lalo: Krishna Sada Sahayate had a great fifth week at the Indian box office and collected Rs. Approximately Rs 31.50 crore. The fifth week was double that of the fourth week. The total box office collection after five weeks of release was just Rs. 49 crores.

The film demonstrated incredible staying power on weekdays, with each day earning Rs. Earned more than Rs. 3 crores. On the last day of the week i.e. Thursday, there was a 40 percent increase compared to the previous week. It also showed that the unconventional jump in the film’s earnings on Wednesday was not a one-off, as Thursday saw a decline of less than 10 percent compared to Wednesday. However, the film is entering its sixth week on a very strong footing, and the decline over the weekend is going to be minimal, if at all.

Lalo is going to cross Rs. Today the figure of 50 crores. By Sunday it will exceed Rs. 60 crores, possibly close to or more than Rs. 65 crores. From there, hit Rs. Rs 80 crore, which seemed like a possible target last week, is too easy. The target is now much higher. At this point, Rs. More than Rs 90 crore definitely seems like a pretty good shot at Rs. 100 crores.

Remember, this is the first year that the Gujarati film industry has made Rs. 100 crores in a whole year, and now a single film can collect that much or more. Gujarat is a big state in terms of box office, with the highest grossing films earning Rs. 130 crores, but the domestic industry has traditionally lagged behind, that is, until now.
