Sunny Deol’s upcoming film ‘Lahore 1947’ will have an important train sequence. The film is produced by Aamir Khan’s production house and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

This sequence shows the characters’ train journey between India and Pakistan. This scene from ‘Lahore 1947’ is a spectacular scene that will be filmed over several weeks.

Regarding this, sources close to the film said, “The shooting of Lahore 1947 will culminate with the most ambitious train sequence of the Partition era, featuring an extensive scene never seen before. The climax of the film promises to be a spectacular spectacle, carefully crafted to capture the chaotic and emotional essence of the Partition era. The sequence will be shot over several weeks with a large cast and crew, aimed at providing a whole new experience to the audience.”

Sunny and Preity Zinta will also be seen together in this period drama, who have worked in ‘Heroes’, ‘Farz’ and other films. Apart from Sunny, ‘Lahore 1947’ also stars Sunny’s elder son Karan Deol.

Karan will play a character called Javed in the film. Actor-producer Aamir Khan confirmed the same and said, “I am very happy that Karan Deol has adapted himself so well to the very important role of Javed. His natural innocence, his honesty and his sincerity have given a lot. Karan has really applied himself, worked hard, done workshops with Aadishakti (a theatre group in Mumbai), rehearsed with Raj (director Rajkumar Santoshi) and has given his best. Javed is a great character, a very challenging character and I am sure Karan will pull it off well under Raj Santoshi’s direction.”

‘Lahore 1947’ will see Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Santoshi working together again after ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. On the other hand, Santoshi and Sunny Deol have previously given box office hits like ‘Ghayal’, ‘Damini’ and ‘Ghaatak’.
