Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars Top 2025 MTV VMA Nomination List

Pop superstars Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are leading the pack announced on Tuesday at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), with the most enrollment. Gaga made 12 nominations, including the Best Album for the Album of the Year and her hit record Meheme. Bruno Mars was closely followed with 11 nominations.
According to Reuters, Gaga and Mars will also face the year category videos. Other nominees include Billy Ellish, Kandric Lamar’s fire-like Disa Song Not like US, and a fan-fed birds of a wing by Manchild of newcomer Sabrina Carpenter. Competition for the title is a guarantee of an electrification fight.
Superstar Taylor Swift and Beyonc, with each 30 career VMA, are in the headlines with re -enrollment for the artist. Other notable nominees of the same category include rapper Kendrick Lamar, Latin Sensation Bad, Country Hitmaker Morgan Walen and Canadian Pop Powerhouse The Weekend.
To honor a wide range of music styles, VMA has introduced two new awards: Best Country Video and Best Pop Artist.
The country’s category, nominees include Chris Stapelton’s Think I Am in You, Jelly Roll’s False and Morgan Waln’s smile. For pop artists, the claimants are Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Tate Machare.
Fans can now cast their votes online in 19 categories before the big night. 2025 MTV VMA will air live from New York on CBS on 7 September. The iconic awards show, which began in 1984, is known for the unforgettable moments of Madonna and Britney Spears on-stage kisses to the infamous meat dress of Gaga.
