Mohanlal is currently filming his next release, tentatively titled L366. As the team shoots in Thodupuzha, Kerala, the makers have unveiled the first look of the film, which features Mohanlal’s character as TS Lovelace.
L366 First Look: Mohanlal introduced as TS Lovelace in Tharun Murthy directorial
Mohanlal shared the first look of L366 with fans on his social media handle. The new look presents him as a Kerala Police sub-inspector with a classic moustache.
Playing a middle-class family man, the first look gives a subtle and realistic introduction to his character and setting. Sharing the look on social media, Laleton wrote, “Introducing pure love in human form – TS Lovelegion.”

The upcoming film L366, 2025, marks the reunion of the superstar with director Tharun Murthy after the success of Thudaram. Although not many details about the film have been revealed yet, it is believed to be a police action-comedy, with Laleton playing the role of an SI at a local police station.
With Rathish Ravi writing the script, the film will feature Meera Jasmine in the female co-lead role, marking her return to the lead role opposite Mohanlal after several years. Earlier, she also played a cameo role in Hridayapurvam with the actor.
Initially, the project was announced as L365, with Thallumala actor Austin Das named as the director. However, due to creative differences, he was replaced by Tharun Murthy, leading to the project turning into a new film different from the original intention.
Mohanlal’s work front
Mohanlal is all set to hit the big screen with Drishyam 3 directed by Jeethu Joseph. The crime thriller will continue the Drishyam franchise, exploring a more emotional narrative centered on protagonist Georgekutty.
With most of the original cast returning for the third installment, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 2, 2026.
Looking ahead, Mohanlal will also be seen in the lead role in the tentatively titled L367. Directed by Vishnu Mohan, the film is being considered a grand venture with over 100 days of shooting.
