Krishnavatram box office day 4: Siddharth Gupta’s devotional drama sees big jump
Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam) collected an estimated Rs 4.19 crore on Sunday, taking its four-day total in India to Rs 8.77 crore. The increase came after Uttar Pradesh declared the film tax-free and ordered special screenings in all districts.
Starring Siddharth Gupta Krishnavatram Part 1: Heart (hridayam), which released in theaters on May 7, recorded the strongest performance at the box office in its opening weekend. Produced by Hardik Gajjar, the devotional drama saw a rise in collections every day from Thursday to Sunday.
According to trade tracker SacnilkOn Sunday, the film earned an estimated Rs 4.19 crore, which is the highest single day collection till date. With this, its total India net (minus gross) collection has reached around Rs 8.77 crore.

The film opened with Rs 50 lakh on Thursday. Its earnings increased to Rs 1.38 crore on Friday and then to Rs 2.70 crore on Saturday, before Sunday emerged as its best performing day during its four-day theatrical run.
Krishnavatram It also got a boost in Uttar Pradesh after the state government declared it tax-free. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the decision after attending a special screening of the film at Lok Bhawan on Sunday. The government has also directed districts across the state to organize special screenings so that children and youth can connect with Indian culture and heritage.
Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the film was released on 7 May in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Apart from Siddharth Gupta, the cast includes Sanskriti, Sushmita Bhatt and Niwasini Krishnan in lead roles, while Jackie Shroff and Ashutosh Rana play important roles.
This film is based on Hindu scriptures Brahma Vaivarta PuranaWritten by Vyas. It explores the events of Lord Krishna’s life after his separation from Radha and focuses on his journey with his wives, Rukmini and Satyabhama. The story is told largely from Satyabhama’s perspective.
With a steady increase in collections in the opening weekend and tax-exempt status in Uttar Pradesh, Krishnavatram Part 1: Heart (hridayam) has recorded a total Indian net collection of around Rs 8.77 crore in its first four days in theatres.
