The KPOP demon hunter is one of the most viewed animated films of recent days. The Netflix film has got a strong hold on the audience, as even in its third week, the film has seen a decline of only 6.2% in its number of audiences.
It is rare for an animated film to see such a thin difference in the number of audiences from a week to three weeks.
According to WhatsApp on Netflix, the film is currently seen 56.1 million times.
It is believed that the film’s revolution has increased the number of audiences to the fans to return to the screen to enjoy an animated film.
What is KPOP demon hunter?
The KPOP demon is based on a group of hunter girls who try to make it larger in the music industry, while also sealing their identity as demons as hunters.
While Rumi, Meera, and Zoe are not fighting demons in real life, their voices have certainly reached millions, as the film’s soundtrack tops the chart.
Opening about the success of the film, the film’s co-director Maggi Kang revealed that she had been pitching the project for the variety for the last seven years.
Kang said, “For me, it has been seven years, when I have picked it up, almost days.” He further said, “You are actually working in a hole. You don’t know. You are looking at the same stuff again and again for a few years: the same jokes, the same moment.”
For the actors of the film, Arden Cho, Lisa Koshi, and Me Hong gave voice to the lead roles. Additionally, AHN Hyo-SEOP, Ken Jeong, and Daniel de Kim joined the hit animated film.
Meanwhile, after the release of the film, KPOP demon hunters received a rating of 97% on rotten tomatoes.
