Launched by Prabhas, the two-minute teaser offers the first detailed look at the film’s unusual blend of Rayalaseema culture, supernatural elements and Korean gangster lore.

The teaser starts with Varun Tej introducing himself as Kanakaraju of Penugonda, Rayalaseema. However, the scenes unexpectedly shift to Korea, causing the character himself to question why the footage does not match his description. The playful beginning soon gives way to a supernatural mystery.

Kanakaraju is introduced as an angry rural youth who enjoys drinking and leads a simple life until a mysterious dragon-shaped vase comes to him. After a supernatural encounter, his eyes turn blue and he begins to exhibit paranormal powers, finding himself paranoid whenever anyone mentions Korea.

The teaser ends revealing a dramatically different version of Varun Tej. The tattoo, including the missing middle finger and surrounded by henchmen, hints at his connection to the Korean mafia in the final moments, suggesting that the actor will be seen in two contrasting colors during the film.

Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, Korean Kankaraju It is billed as a cross-cultural horror comedy combining Indian and Korean influences. Ritika Nayak plays the lead role, while comedian Satya appears in the lead role. Thaman S has composed the music, the recently released first single, Kamasahamnida, is already garnering attention for its Korean phrases and Sid Sriram’s vocals.
