The original film, released in 2015, had a stellar opening of Rs. 7.65 crores, following a promising trend. It earned Rs. Earned ₹36.80 crore in the first week, and eventually grossed Rs. But ended. Net worth Rs 42 crore, hit verdict was given. However, the sequel tells a different story. The latest release not only lacked a fresh approach to the topic but also failed to build anticipation. This project is being kept going because of the face value of Kapil Sharma.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will now face Avatar: Fire and Ash from tomorrow, which will further slow down its performance. Now it is looking to wrap its entire theatrical output under Rs. 15 crore net figure in India.
