GV Prakash Kumar starrer Kingston hit a big screen on 7 March 2025. Directed by Kamal Prakash, the fantasy horror film was opened for mixed reviews at the box office despite the efforts of the manufacturers to present a unique story. However, reports show that the film has achieved an OTT deal with a major streaming platform. Here you can see it after a dramatic run.

According to a filmbate report, Kingston will start streaming on Zee5 after finishing his dramatic run. More information about its OTT premiere is yet to be announced.
Kingston’s official trailer and plot
Kingston’s story follows a fishing village that is trapped under a curse that prevents them from fishing, threatening their existence. A powerful don regulates the Dawn Roathukudi, while the head of a village hides its real purposes.
A former military officer and a young boy became part of the struggle to capitalize on his father. The conspiracy also introduces a cursed treasure and a bloodline immunity to supernatural forces. The center has a hero who cares only for money. As soon as these characters cross the path, the villagers fight to break the curse and restore their livelihood.

Kingston is directed by Kamal Prakash, who also co-written the film with Dhiwak Sekar, who handled the dialogues. The film is produced by GV Prakash Kumar, Bhavani SRE and Umesh Kra Bansal. Gokul Benoy handled the cinematography, while San Lokesh took over the editing. The music on the other hand is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
The film stars GV Prakash Kumar in the lead role as the king of Kingston, ‘as Divya with Divyabharati. Supporters include Solomon, Nithin Satya, Azham Perumal, Alango Kumarwell, Sabomon Abdusamam, Sha Ra, Antony, Arunachaleshlesh, Rajesh Balchandiran and Ram Nishant as Solomon.
