Nagarjuna Akini is creating a lot of discussion after appearing as an opponent in Rajinikanth starring Rajinikanth. Following the dramatic run of Lokesh Kangaraj direction, the actor confirmed his next film, which is under King 100 title.
Nagarjuna Akini on his 100th film
In a conversation on Zee Telugu TV show Jayamu Niscasemu Ra with Jagapati, Nagarjuna Akini opened about his upcoming film, emphasizing that he would play the role of a hero this time.
In his own words, “King 100 … It is making it for 6-7 months. Ra Karthik is directing the film; he is a Tamil director, and he told me the story about a year ago.”
Nagarjuna said, “It will be a grand film. Now that I have been released on it, I will start working on it, and my next release King will be 100. It’s a good action, family drama movie,” Nagarjun said. (Translated relaxed from Telugu).
As the veteran star has recently appeared as a co-leed in films like Cool and Kubera, he concluded, “I just want to clarify that this time, I will become a hero.”
Who is Ra Karthik?
For those unknown people, RA Karthik is the Tamil director who first starred Ashok Selvan starrer NINM Oru Vamanam. The film, which featured a thugs life actor in a triple role, also acted as co-colleges to Ritu Verma, Aparna Balmurli and Shiv trumpet Rajshekar.
The story revolves around Arjun, a young man suffering from OCD. After closing their marriage, his doctor advised him to read true stories about two couples. Due to his situation, Arjun imagines himself as a hero in stories and when both stories suddenly end, they get frustrated.
In search of closure, Arjuna begins on a life-long journey, one who also leads him to Shubha. The romantic drama is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
Nagarjuna Akini’s latest film
Nagarjuna Akineni was last seen in Cool, in which Rajinikanth was acted, which was released on 14 August 2025. The action thriller tells the story of Devraj alias Dev, a former union leader, who remained in the shadow for more than 30 years, until his friend Rajasekhar’s death motivated him to resume.
Demanding revenge, the deity Simon goes against Zewear, who is involved in the Kingpin smuggling, with which he shares a dark history. The conflict between the two is the central struggle of the story.
