The shooting of the much awaited Kannada film ‘Mark’ starring Kiccha Sudeep has been completed. The team shared pictures from the last day of filming, where Sudeep is seen posing with the entire team. ‘Mark’, directed by Vijay Karthikeya, is set to release in theaters on December 25 during the Christmas holidays.

Kiccha Sudeep can be seen posing excitedly with director Vijay Karthikeya, technicians and the artistes involved in the shooting of the song. The vibrant colors on the set and the costumes worn by the background dancers suggest that the number could be a party song from the film.

Sudeep wrote a heartfelt note to his ex, in which he talked about the journey he and his team took to complete this film. He wrote, “On July 7, our team set out with one intention: to accomplish what initially seemed impossible. A huge mission to accomplish in the shortest possible time. What made it possible was not just the efforts of a few, but the hard work of every individual on the team. Each member woke up each day with a purpose, worked together with one focus, gave their all, and overcame every obstacle until the goal was reached.”

He further added, “After almost 110 days of hard work and countless call sheets, the shooting of Mark has been completed. We have completed major CG, background score, dubbing and most of the post-production work. It makes us shudder to remember this journey. How did we dare and how did we achieve this? Endless love and applause to Mark’s entire family. As the team always said, ‘As promised… this Christmas’.”

The recently released teaser for ‘Mark’, titled ‘Mark Intro’, has been well received by the audience. It offered a quick glimpse of the rest of the cast and featured some impressively high-octane dialogue that builds mystery around the title character. Sudeep is seen in a brooding, stylish avatar that exudes oodles of swag.

Announcing the film in July this year, Sudeep had said that he wanted to make a quick project and release it in the same year. True to his word, the ‘Vikrant Rona’ actor is now all set to ‘mark’ the audience on the promised date of 25th December. The film also stars Kiccha Sudeep along with Naveen Chandra, Deepshikha, Yogi Babu and Gopalkrishna Deshpande.

‘Mark’ will clash in theaters with Arjun Gyan directorial ’45’, starring superstars Shiv Rajkumar and Upendra along with the acclaimed Raj B Shetty. The mythological, concept-driven mass entertainer is also highly anticipated, which will set up an exciting box office clash in Kannada cinema this Christmas.

Apart from ‘Mark’, Kiccha Sudeep is also working on ‘Rangeetaranga’ director Anup Bhandari’s ambitious project ‘Billa Ranga Basha’. The two-part film series is said to be a sci-fi action thriller set in a post-apocalyptic future in the year 2209 AD.
