In an interview with DNA Back in 2016, Siddharth Malhotra was asked about his wedding plans, while he was promoting his film, Bar and Bar Dekho. In response, the actor accepted his faith in the wedding institution. He mentioned that he grew up in a middle class environment where he had seen joint families, and he loved that energy.

“But at the day and age, marriage has just become a tagline. I think I will only get married when I want to have children. Otherwise, it will be unfair to not give him/her name for the child. Till then, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. Whatever you want can happen.
