Actress and politician Khushbu Sundar announced in 2022 that she is a part of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Vaarisu’. However, her portions in the film were removed. In a recent interview BehindwoodsKhushbu revealed that her portions with Vijay were deleted due to the long runtime. She also claimed that many of her emotional scenes in the film were with Thalapathy Vijay and not with any other actor.

Speaking to choreographer Kaala, Khushbu said, “I had a different track in ‘Vaarisu’ which deals with family issues. It is a beautiful and emotional track. I didn’t have scenes with any other actor except Thalapathy Vijay.”

She further revealed that director Vamshi Paidipally met her personally and broke the news of her scenes being deleted. “They said the film’s runtime was over. Since my track is different, they wanted to delete it. Then, I told them to delete every single scene of mine. They promised to do so and not disrespect me,” she said.

When Kala asked if there were any memorable dialogues in the film, he said, “More than the dialogues, there were many silent scenes between Vijay and me. The emotions were beautiful. Vijay and I met after the release of the film as we live nearby. Vijay said that our scenes were brilliant. We felt the emotions and cried on the sets while performing. Unfortunately, these scenes were not a part of the film.”
