Khushboo Sundar’s reaction on Hema Committee report

Khushboo Sundar on Hema Committee report: Earlier no one took such allegations seriously

Actress-politician and former member of the National Commission for Women, Khushbu Sundar, spoke exclusively to India Today about the ongoing debate over the Hema Committee report.

Sharing her thoughts, Khushbu said, “This is a huge surprise for me. The names mentioned in the report are of people I have worked with – 99 per cent of them. So, it is surprising to see such allegations against them. They have been accused but they have not been proven guilty. I would not say it is the best kept secret. We have seen some allegations before this as well but no one took them seriously until the commission’s report was released. Let me remind you that this report was prepared five years ago and has been released now. So the report and the allegations you have seen are from at least 10 to 12 years ago. What is said in the report, I don’t think it is happening now.”
