Actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan again joined the screen after almost two decades. The pair have worked for an upcoming thriller with veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan for a thriller called ‘Havan’. The film, which officially began production in Kochi, Kerala today, is allegedly Hindi conversion of the 2016 Malayalam hit ‘Opam’, which originally acted to Mohanlal.

Akshay shared a rear view videos from the film’s set, teasing co-star Saif. Sporting a T-shirt with the word “Saint”, he took a pinch, “I know this devil very well,” pointing to the two actors to share. The video has already created apathy among fans, who recalled the pair from films like ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’, ‘Ye Dilgi’, ‘Tu Chor Main Sipahi’ and ‘Tashan’.

Sharing the video, Akshay wrote in the caption, “We are all hi. :)) Start shooting for #Haiwaan today with his full favorite captain of the ship, @priyadarshan.official sir. Great to work with Saif after about 18 years. Let’s get Habitable Rolling !! (SIC) “

In a recent interview with Hindustan TimesThe actor expressed his excitement about the reunion with both Priyadarshan and Saif Ali Khan. “It’s great that I am working with Priyadarshan ji again. And the best thing is that I am working again with Saif Ali Khan. After so long, we are forming a team once again, and I can’t wait to start shooting with him,” he said.

With TheSpian Films produced by KVN Productions, ‘Havan’ is jointly supported by Venkat’s Narayan and Shilaja Desai Fen. Shoot will be shot at places including Kochi, Ooty and Mumbai.
