Kevin Costner found herself in legal trouble after a female stunt sued the actor and the producers of the film. Davin Labella revealed in the documents submitted in the court that he was subject to an unpublished R*PE scene on the set of the film released in 2024.
In the papers obtained by Peepal Magazine, Stunt Double mentioned that she was “a violent, without a violent, without any, without any, unhappy rape.”
Labella said that she never agreed to work in such a scene on screen and the incident left her with permanent trauma. Devin worked as a stunt double for actress Ella Hunt on the set of 100 million USD Epic.
Kevin Costner’s lawyer responds to the allegations of stunt double
Immediately after accusing Lebella’s costner and S*XUL harassment producers, the actor’s lawyers responded to the claims and called them baseless. Film star’s lawyer called the stunt a “serial abuser” double and claimed that there is absolutely no “ability in his statements.”
In his statement about the allegations, the lawyers mentioned that the actor “always wants to ensure that everyone is comfortable working on their films and takes security very seriously on the set.” Marti Singer also defended his customer, saying, “The facts are clear and we are confident that Kevin will be strong.”
Labella sued on Tuesday and mentioned in her documents that she was hired to play stunt double for Hunt.
According to the SAG agreement, Stuntwoman was hired to be present in the action as well as being present in the action sequence as a replacement of the hunt. However, according to the case filed, Labella said that “the final-matches for nudity or simulated S*X are not allowed by the SAG and the film’s producers are expected to give a notice of 48 hours of any change.”
He continued that even the artist is necessary to inform about any kind of intimate scenes.
