It seems that the audience has given a thumb to Soraj Pancholi-Soonel Shetty’s ‘Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath’. Fans welcomed the film to portray ‘a forgotten chapter in the history of India’.

‘Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath,’ the specialty of actors Sorag Pancholi and Sunil Shetty received positive response from fans. The film is being appreciated for the portrayal of the ‘forgotten chapter of history’. Historical Action-Drama is set against the backdrop of the 14th century AD, and is about the unseeded warriors who defend the Somnath temple, the first of the 12 Geotoringus Dedicated to Lord Shiva.

In ‘Kesari Veer’, Pancholi depicted the Rajput warrior Hamirji Gohil, who fought against the Tughlaq Empire to save Somnath temple from destruction. The film also features Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi and other important characters. Shetty today said in a recent interview with India Today that she is a part of the film because of ‘love for the subject’.
‘Kesari Veer: Legends of Somnath’ is directed by Rajkumar Dhiman and is produced by Kanubhai Chauhan. The film was released in theaters on 23 May 2025.
