Kesari Veer Review: The action of Soraj Pancholi and the intensity of Sunil Shetty are all that work for clumsy historic about saving Somnath temple

plot

Hamirji Gohil (Soraj Pancholi) is a courageous Rajput warrior who is determined to protect the holy Somnath temple from the ruthless Mughal leader Veerapaksha Zafar (Vivek Oberoi). Set in the 14th century, the film follows Hamirji’s efforts to protect their land and trust against the overshadowing. He is accompanied by Vedgaji (Sunil Shetty), another fierce protector of the temple. His daughter Rajal (Aknakash Sharma) serves as the love interest of Hamirji Gohil. The focus of the film is to highlight the valor and sacrifices of the Rajput warriors as they are firm to protect their cultural and religious heritage.

What happens to Hamirji Gohil? Is he capable of protecting the Somnath temple? See Kesari Veer to find out this.

What works for Kesari Veer

The biggest strength of the film is in its honesty. All actors put their hearts in portraying characters that embodory courage and devotion, automatically make the audience root for them. The intention of telling a story is commendable for Hindus to have cultural and religious significance. The film especially performs well to increase the spirit of pride in the depiction of Rajput Velor. The action sequences are standing outside, especially hand -fasting. The sequence of confrontation between Soraj Pancholi and Sunil Shetty makes for the best moments of the film. Costume designs and set pieces of set are good viewing tight budget. The heart of the film is at the right place, which aims to celebrate an important chapter of history with passion.

Does Kesari not work for Veer

Despite his great intentions, Kesari Veer stumbles in his execution. There is a lack of depth in storytelling, clinging to an forecasted and highly simplified story that does not look into the motivations or historical references of the characters in more detail. The screenplay feels padded with stretched, clinch, melodramatic dialogues and repeated conflicts, later reduces emotional effects. The romantic arc between Hamirji and Rajal feels underdeveloped and it only adds very little to the main plot.

The visual effect is a major lethargy, with a poorly presented CGI that looks unrelated to the visuals of the gorgeous war. This poor technical work reduces the serious tone of the film, making it difficult for the audience to completely immerse themselves in the story. Finally, pacing also suffers due to the excessive number of songs during the film.

Demonstration in Kesari Veer

Soraj Pancholi gave a committed demonstration in the form of Hamirji Gohil, bringing intensity and honesty in the role of a brave warrior. However, weak script limits their ability to fully show their ability. Vivek oberoi as verepaksh zafar is suitable menacing, although his character is overshadowed by a Mughal warrior clinch. Suniel Shetty brings credibility to the film. His initial scene where he saves Shivalinga is one of the main attractions of the film. Aknakash Sharma is appropriate as Rajal. She looks glamorous as a Rajput princess. Bhava Gandhi gives good support to Soraj Pancholi but his character is very straightforward. It should definitely be in more nuances. Other actors of the film showcase Ebally.

Kesari Veer’s final decision

Kesari Veer is a film that has great intentions and is a hearty tribute to Rajput bravery, but it is reduced due to its simplified story, stretched screenplay and sub -visual effects. While the performance of Soraj Pancholi shows honesty, and while action scenes are well executed, the depth of the story and the lack of technical polish hold the film back.
