Keralam Wrap: Akshay Kumar shares fun picture with Vidya, Raashi from the sets of the film

Actor Akshay Kumar has completed the Kerala schedule of his upcoming film with director Anees Bazmee. The actor shared the update on Instagram along with a photo of his co-stars Vidya Balan and Raashi Khanna, giving fans a fresh glimpse from the sets of the untitled project.
The film marks the reunion of Akshay and Vidya, who have worked together in several films over the years. It brings Akshay back under Bazmee’s direction after 15 years. Now with the completion of the Kerala leg, the comedy-drama has gone a step further.

Sharing the update with his followers, Akshay wrote, “Keralaam schedule complete! There’s nothing better than working with great people in a beautiful place.” He also thanked Bazmee, Vidya, Raashi and the crew for the experience.
In the same post, she said, “So much love to our director Anees Bazmee and my incredible co-stars Vidya and Raashi and the entire team for the madness behind the camera! It’s been special.”
trip to kerala for shooting
In April, Akshay had first shared that he was traveling to Kerala for the film. He posted a clip of himself boarding the plane with Vidya as he left for the state. In the video, the two were seen walking hand in hand with Akshay taking them to the plane.
Along with that post, Akshay wrote, “Next stop: God’s own country, magical Keralam (palm tree and airplane emoji) Anees Bazmee’s next is my 4th film with the brilliant @balanvidya and I hope our pairing good luck continues.”
A familiar pair returns
Akshay and Vidya have worked together before in films like hey baby (2007), maze (2007), and mission mangal (2019). His previous films have moved beyond comedy and drama. The new project has been described as a comedy-drama.
It’s also a notable reunion for Akshay and Anees. The actor-director duo last worked together 15 years ago in films like Welcome (2007), Singh is king (2008), and Thank you (2011).

Akshay was seen recently ghost banglaDirected by Priyadarshan. Meanwhile Vidya was seen Raja Shivaji. Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who also stars in the film, the film released in theaters on May 1.
