The Kerala Crime Files is a Malayalam-language crime drama web series available for streaming on Gehotstar. The first season of the show was released on June 23, 2023, the Kerala Crime Files – Shiju, Parail Vidu, Nandakara.
Nearly 2 years after 1 season, the second season of the series called Kerala Crime Files 2 – CPO Ambi Raju is discovered here. The latter season started streaming on the OTT platform from 20 June 2025.
The Kerala Crime Files 2 has a story of a newly appointed police officer C. Noble, which has been assigned to a remote police station in Rural Thiruvananthapuram. With officer Kurian Avaran and team, SI comes in a mysterious case.
In a turn of incidents, the Civil Police Officer (CPO) AMBILI goes missing immediately after the Raju is transferred. The policeman is known for having suspicious relations with suspects.
As the investigation intensifies, C. Noble and the rest of the team realize that CPO Ambily had a lot of reputation among the people. A personality with integrity is noted, man is considered prominent and makes people feel indebted to him.
Due to his relations with criminals, he is associated with a criminal case with the Bengaluru Police, demanding a bribe of Rs 20 lakh to remove his name.
In the hope of finding money, embryi and a criminal, Ayyappan, try to buy an ancient ring. However, things take a turn when a dog named Terry accidentally swallows it.
Now, Ambili and Ayyappan need to end the dog’s life and remove the ring from his body. Despite the later hesitation, they do so, but soon, both go missing.

As C. Noble, with the rest of the team, investigate the case, he discovers that the son of a petty thief was responsible for Jasmon, Ambili and Ayyappan went missing.
Soon, we have been shown that Jasmon was a dog trainer, who loved the dogs very much. The man had planned to adopt Terry with shelter, but before he could do, Ambili and Ayyappan ended the dog’s life.
After learning the truth, Jasmon kills both of them and feeds their lifeless body to dogs.
