Actor Kerthi Suresh’s upcoming Telugu film, titled ‘Uppu Kappurambu’ has finally been the date of release. The film’s premiere will be directly on OTT. On Monday, the producers announced that the upcoming age satirical film would stream in India and more than 240 countries and regions worldwide on 4 June.

Directed by ANI IV SASI, ‘UPPU Kappurambu’ includes the lead roles Suresh, Suhas, Babu Mohan, Shatru and Talluri Rameshwari. The film is produced by Radhika Lavu under the banner of The Banner of Ilanar Films Private Limited.

‘Uppu Kopambu’ Chitti revolves around the fictional village of Jaipur, who is struggling with increasing pressure on its burial infrastructure. Although the film talks about a social issue, it is complete with quirks, wittiness and comic moments.

Director Annie IV Sasi in a statement, expressed that the film is attracted to a world that he wanted to bring on screen for a long time. He gave a glimpse in the cinematic world and said that the film is against the background of rural life in the 90s.

He said, “It uses satire and humor how common people navigate extraordinary situations with limited means, but an unwavering feeling,” he said. The director also expressed that the film is “an incredible actors and the crew brought to life, with meaningful comments to mix comedy with meaningful comments.”

Nikhil Madhok, director and head of Prime Video origin, said, “Uppu Kappurambu is a thought-respective, yet there is a bizarre satire that captures the essence of an authentic rural mile, while brings out an unconventional subject.”

Kerthi Suresh has established his acting metal in Tamil and Telugu films. He started his career as a child actor in early 2000. Years later, he won a National Film Award and two Filmfare Awards for his portrayal of Savitri in the biopic ‘Mahanati’. He won another Filmfare Award for the film ‘Dasara’. The actor will be seen in the upcoming films ‘Revolver Rita’ and ‘Kannividi’.
